Making Space- A Lesson From the Trees.

There is a lesson written into every autumn leaf.

As the days grow shorter and the air turns crisp, the trees begin to let go. Not because they are failing. Not because they are losing something. Not because they have given up.

They let go because they trust.

They trust the wisdom of the season. They trust what they cannot yet see. They trust that what is falling away is making room for what comes next.

And every year, without resistance, they remind us of a truth we often forget:

Life was never designed to be a constant struggle.

Many of us have been taught that abundance comes through effort alone. That if we work harder, push further, or figure everything out, eventually we'll arrive at the life we've been seeking. Yet no matter how much we accomplish, there is often a quiet feeling that something is still missing.

Perhaps because abundance isn't only about what we gather. Perhaps it's also about what we're willing to release.

The trees don't keep every leaf they've ever grown. They create space.

Space for rest.

Space for renewal.

Space for what comes next.

Yet so many of us hold tightly to old worries, old expectations, old disappointments, and old stories about who we need to be. We carry them long after they've served their purpose.

Autumn offers another way.

A reminder that letting go is not losing. It is making room for clarity, peace and new possibilities.

Trees trusts the cycle.  There is wisdom in that.

What are you carrying that has completed its season?

What would become possible if you released it?

As the leaves continue to drift from the trees, let them be a reminder:

You do not need to hold onto everything.

You do not need to force what comes next.

You can trust the season you're in.

You can make space.

And sometimes, creating space is the very thing that allows abundance to find its way in
